MENTORSHIP CAMP
The Elite Goalies Mentorship Camp provides goaltenders with the opportunity to spend 5 days working side by side with former Dallas Stars NHL goaltending coach Mike Valley along with ECHL Pro goalie coach, Josh Robinson.
The program, now in its 12th year, provides unparalleled opportunities for growth and development. Dozens of NHL, NCAA, Major Junior, and Junior A Tier 2 goalies have attended the Mentorship Camps.
The camp is simply in a league of its own and delivers incredible results!
Selection Process
The Mentorship Camp provides access to the finest methods, training, and developmental tools available. The mentorship program applies a multi-faceted methodology that generates results.
In order to deliver the highest intensity and supreme results, the program will select only 6 goaltenders per session. Accepted goaltenders will display a burning desire to improve, a solid skill baseline, and an understanding of the true commitment and dedication that it takes to achieve their performance goals.
THE TRAINING
Our Junior and NHL camps are structured exactly the same. The program has been built out based on athlete feedback over the past decade. Each day consists of:
- Pre-ice video covering the concepts being taught on the ice.
- 2 ice sessions - 2.5hrs of ice a day (only 2 goalies at a net).
- Lecture where we cover game tactics and mental strength.
- Off-ice training that is goalie specific. - Included in the camp price is both Lunch and Dinner.
Sitting down each evening as a group allows the goaltenders and coaches to discuss a various number of goaltending topics in a casual environment.
